Drew this as a perspective assignment, "deep space." The honeycomb hexagons in perspective were difficult. My dad was a beekeeper for 17 years until he suddenly became allergic one day. Store-bought honey tastes weird to me.
Pencil, bristol board. Approx. 50 hours. Very detailed, about 22x30" although you can't see a lot of the detail in this photo.
WOW- simply amazing. I recently did a perspective drawing for an art class too. this is one awesome idea. And you excede just getting down the perspective part. I love the expression on his face.
